Lakers-Warriors Face Off
The Los Angeles Lakers are matched up in the Western Conference semifinals with the Golden State Warriors.
This matchup between these teams doesn’t seem like it would be that deep, but it is.
LeBron James and Stephen Curry have matched up in the NBA finals 4 different times, and now they are matching up in the Western Conference semifinals.
Game 1 tipped off last night, and it was an absolute thriller. The Lakers seemed to be in control the entire second half, and then the Warriors started a huge scoring run.
The Warriors scored 14 points in a row in the 4th quarter to tie it, and the Lakers pulled it out at the end of the game.
Anthony Davis had one of the most impressive stat lines last night for the Lakers putting up 30 points and 23 rebounds.
Other notable scorers for the Lakers were Dennis Schroeder and D’Angelo Russel with 19 points a piece and LeBron James with 22 points.
Game 2 of the series will stay in Golden State on Friday, May 4th at 9 p.m.
