A local missing man has been reported as alive and well. In November of 2021, a man by the name of Noah Johnson went missing after being last seen at Harrison Lake in Fulton County. Johnson was believed to be in grave danger by his fiance and family, so they began spreading the news via social media. Their videos eventually made it to tiktok and brought in over 5 million views. This story was broadcasted on local news stations, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter. The 22 year old went missing and left behind a loving girlfriend and a desperate family who even offered a $5000 reward for anyone who could give information on his whereabouts.
It has been almost 5 months since Johnson was seen but last night he reappeared. He walked into the police station and confirmed that he left on his own free will.
This situation has raised various questions and conversations wondering why he left or why he never reached out. Others wonder why he came back after no contact, and if his mental health may have played a factor in the disappearance.
With Johnson’s wife’s tiktok reaching 5 million views, people are now wondering if the entire situation was a scam and if they did it for the money. The family did raise money with donations and Go Fund Me to help find him.
Whatever the reason is he left, the people are owed an explanation. Hopefully more information will arise soon.
